Create your organization
An organization is your own PatchPilot workspace: your devices, users, policies and history, kept in a database of its own, separate from every other organization.
Sign up
Open the sign-up page (Get Started on this website).
Fill in:
Field What to enter Organization name Your company or team, up to 100 characters Your name Your full name Work email Your work address. Gmail, Outlook.com and other free mail providers cannot start an organization Password At least 12 characters Press Create organization.
You become the organization's first administrator.
Your portal address
When the organization is created, the page shows your organization's address and a Sign in at your portal button. Bookmark that address: from now on you and your colleagues sign in there. It is also in the welcome email you receive.
If sign-up is refused
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| "Use your work email…" | The address is from a free mail provider. Use your company address |
| "An organization already exists for that domain." | Someone at your company has already signed up. Ask them to invite you under Users |
| "That address already belongs to an organization." | You already have an account. Use Sign in instead |
